An open invitation to come and sing in a Good Friday devotional classic. Rehearsals will begin at 4.30 p.m., with a public performance at 7.00 p.m. More details to follow.
The Lunchtime Recital season runs from Easter to Remembrance each year, and includes both exciting local talent as well as up-and-coming talented musicians from all over the country (occasionally the world!)
Concerts begin at 12.15 p.m. on Thursdays, lasting for 45 minutes, and are free to enter. We do ask where possible for a generous donation to the church’s music fund, but if that’s not possible, please do feel free to come and enjoy the music!

See inside the famous Crooked Spire! (When possible) see the view from the top of the church tower! Learn why the spire is crooked, and learn about the peregrine falcons that breed under the spire! Find out about the eleven bells!
Tower Tours are available from Easter until Remembrance each year, and normally run on Friday and Saturdays at 2.30 p.m. for an hour. There may not be a tour if a service (e.g. a funeral or wedding) or other event is taking place in the church. Please note that if the peregrines are breeding it will not be possible to go outside at the top of the tower – this is usually the case up to July each year. Up-to-date information is usually posted here.
The maximum number for each tour is 15. Tickets may be obtained from the church Gift Shop in the week preceding each tour. Booking online or over the telephone is not possible, sorry.
Tickets are £10 each for adults, £5 each for children under 16, and a family ticket (two adults; two children) is available for a discounted price of £20.
If you have a group of at least 10, we may be able to arrange additional tours, subject to timings, services and events in the church, and availability of guides. Please enquire on 01246 206506 (leave a message please!), or email contact@crookedspire.org.
